Ratul Mahajun and his group of researchers researched how much minutes each smartphone user uses whilst they are with their smartphones. They had noticed that the growth rate of smartphones is growing at a large percentage whilst they do not monitor their usage patterns, so they undertook this research to monitor the smartphone user patterns. So after they had finished with their research they noticed that most smartphone users spend most of their time using their smartphones for different purposes and this usage will increase with an increase in the sales of smartphones.
