  • 2. What is socialism?
    • Refers to any ideology that believes that resources should be controlled by the public for the benefit of everyone in society.
    • Socialists value economic equality
  • 3. Why Socialism?
    • Some people were upset that the great wealth produced during the Industrial Revolution was not being distributed in a fair and just manner.
    • The living and working conditions of the workers was seen as unjust as they contributed greatly to the creation of the wealth.
