  • District 75/CitywidePrograms!District 75 is the largest urban public school district for students with severedisabilities in the world. District 75 currently  educates over 22,000 students ages4-21 in 58 school organizations located in 320 sites across the five boroughs ofNYC with a staff of over 13,000.!Out of the 22,000 students enrolled in District 75, there are 6,500 students on theautistic spectrum.!The mission of District 75 is to provide appropriate standards – based educationalprograms and support services to students with severe challenges commensuratewith their abilities.We are committed to working with students and their families toafford every student the opportunity to maximize their potential and becomecontributing members of their community and to develop individual skills to ensuremaximum personal independence and self- esteem.!TextMonday, June 24, 13

Alex alsounderstands abbreviations, long numbers, and heteronyms.These are words that are spelled the same but have differentpronunciation and meaning.
