4. 4. Who uses the STaR Chart?

All Texas teachers are required to complete the Texas STaR Chart annually. 6. 6. What is the Texas Campus STaR Chart?

The Texas Campus STaR Chart is a tool for planning and assessing school technology and readiness. It gives campuses an overview and reflection of how effectively technology is being implemented into the classroom.

 7. 7. Why is the STaR Chart used?

The Texas campus STaR Chart can be used for a variety of reasons including, but not limited to receiving grants, creating campus technology plans, assessing teacher technology proficiency, and establish and monitor progress toward technology goals.

This assessment is one that is a true indicator of the priorities on our campus and unfortunately, technology advancement is not one of them. We must continue to work together both individually and as a campus to improve our own technology literacy and implementation so that we can use technology as a daily resource in creating effective classroom instruction and creating lifelong learners.
