  3. 3.  What happens to discarded laptops anyway? Well, these laptops get directly sent into landfills to be disposed of, never to be heard of again.
  4. 4.  When laptops are thrown away, or if you didn’t sell your laptop to responsible people, they pose grave dangers to the environment. Many people aren’t exactly aware of the effects of just plainly throwing away laptops and computer parts.
  5. 5.  The worst part is that e – waste takes a very long time to degrade. But now that you’re aware of what e – waste can do to the environment, what can you do?
  6. 6.  In your own little way, the best way is to recycle your laptop properly.
  7. 7.  many companies have realized the mistakes of producing too much and are now willing to take back what they have released on the market for the benefit of mankind.
  8. 8.  Companies buy back from customers their laptops and other computer – related stuff they sold in an effort to reduce the amount of waste they’re creating.
  9. 9.  Another thing you can do (if you’re not going to trade in laptops) is upgrade the performance of your laptop so you don’t have to buy a new one anymore. If your laptop is dying on you already and you’re dead set on buying a new one, look for a laptop that is upgradeable.
  10. 10.  Better yet, trade laptop to buy one that’s very powerful, so you won’t have to buy another one for a long time!
