Meet Dr. Shiao Woo, M.D., M.B.B.S., F.A.C.R Louisville CyberKnife’s Medical Director, Dr. Shiao Woo, is a board-certified radiation oncologist specializing in the treatment of brain tumors and pediatric radiation oncology. Dr. Woo serves as professor and chairman of the Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. His clinical and research interests include tumors of the blood, bone, nervous system and soft tissue in children and adults.   • 3. History Dr. Woo earned his medical degree from the University of Malaysia. He completed a clinical internship at Ipoh General Hospital in Malaysia and residencies in internal medicine at Johor Baru General Hospital in Malaysia, pediatrics at Southern General Hospital in Scotland and radiation therapy at Stanford University Medical Center in California. Dr. Woo previously served as residency program director at MD Anderson Cancer Center, and later as section chief and leader of their proton center.
