Illegal Immigration Illegal Immigration Presentation Transcript

  • Illegal Immigration By: Luis Gigato Eng 102
    • Statistics do not tell the story of immigration. People do. Since its inception, this nation has been continually infused with the energy of newcomers. Yet their assimilation has seldom been smooth. The challenges we face today are not new. Only the stories are.
    • Immigration has occurred since many centuries ago and is still happening today. Many people from many parts of the world come to find new hope and greater opportunities .
    • The search for a better life drives people to do the unexpected or whatever possible to succeed.
    • 700,000 Mexicans, mostly women and children, emigrated to the United States in 2008 to find work and opportunity. Thousands of them did not reach that dream “The American Dream”
    • Here we see how mothers without thinking twice about the dangers she faces ahead leaves everything behind so that her children can grow in the land of FREEDOM
    • The increase in illegal immigration has caused a harsh development of enforcement in order to control the Country’s economical figure.
    • Many Immigrants try their best to escape there home lands but if caught they face the worst punishment.
  • Would you deny these kids an opportunity to the American Dream?
  •
  • ~ Remember, always, that all of us, you and I, are descendents of immigrants. ~
