Use Linkedin to raise your profile
Have you Googled yourself lately? You never know what may come up! Google your name and you'll find the search results, at the top of mine it's my LinkedIn profile, my Twitter Profile, a link to my blog, and a link to my BforB web site. A LinkedIn profile rises you to the top of search results, letting you control the first impression people get when searching for you online! LinkedIn is an online directory of professionals and companies.

Select an Industry, because recruiters often use that field to search. Include all the keywords and skills from your resume in your profile. That will make it easier for your profile to be found in search results.

      Step 5
Your personal brand reflects who are as a person But keep Your Personal Life Private You can still have personal information on the web. Just make sure that it's only available to the people you want to see it. Make sure that other networkers are finding what you want them to find, and what they are viewing is appropriate. Do be careful what you write. Keep in mind that just about anything that is online can be read by someone - or everyone.
