  14. 16. Mr. Orazio D’Antoni, the environmental executive, who speaks about the difficulties of recycling in a big city like Catania
  15. 17. Ninella Caruso the Mayor of Misterbianco, a small town near Catania where they make provisions for separating rubbish. Every household is provided with different coloured bags. These bags are then collected by the council who go from door to door instead of collecting from a communal rubbish disposal container.

  17. 20. <ul><li>LE REGOLE DELL’AMBIENTE </li></ul><ul><li>Rispettare e prendersi cura dell’ambiente circonstante. </li></ul><ul><li>Prevenire i danni ambientali e proteggere i diritti delle persone. </li></ul><ul><li>Promuovere il bene comune. </li></ul><ul><li>Riconoscere che la libertà di azione e di scelta di ogni generazione umana è limitata e dipendente dai bisogni delle generazione future. </li></ul><ul><li>Promuovere il recupero della materia prima attraverso un sistema di economia di rifiuto. </li></ul><ul><li>Conoscere e saper gestire le risorse rinnovabili. </li></ul><ul><li>Prevenire i danni ambientali piuttosto che curarli. </li></ul><ul><li>Adattare i modelli di consumo e di produzione che salvaguardino il pianeta terra, i diritti umani, il benessere della comunità. </li></ul><ul><li>Promuovere lo sviluppo e l’uso di tecnologie ecologicamente corrette. </li></ul><ul><li>Conoscere le regole della sostenibilià ambientale e promuovere l’applicazione delle conoscenze acquisite. </li></ul><ul><li>LE REGOLE COMPORTAMENTALI </li></ul><ul><li>Non gettare i rifiuti per terra. </li></ul><ul><li>Gettare i rifiuti negli appositi contenitori. </li></ul><ul><li>Stimolare gli altri a comportamenti corretti. </li></ul><ul><li>Rispettare l’ambiente scolastico come se fosse casa nostra. </li></ul><ul><li>Non essere indifferenti ai comportamenti di coloro che ci stanno attorno. </li></ul>
