Fanship Friday: Are You Communicating or Just
Talking?

Communication As An Art Form
What do business partnerships, children, and the Law of Attraction all have in common? A need for your
clear communication…
When engaging with fans, followers, business partners, or even friends and family, we need to be clear. We need to
speak with clarity when having conversations and also in setting goals for ourselves and our business.
With that goal setting time of year coming up, it is a great time to clarify!
Check out this crazy video on gee-hawing, the Law of Attraction, and telling children what you want…
Are You Involved in Communicating or Just Talking?
Speaking of clear communication, this is an older video and I kind of ramble, so bare with me. The point is important…
2. Get clear on what you want, learn to state it clearly, and watch as your life is transformed. Healthy relationships and a
life of passion and purpose are born of clear communication.
“One day Alice came to a fork in
the road and saw a Cheshire
cat in a tree. Which road do I
take? she asked. Where do you
want to go? was his response. I
don’t know, Alice answered.
Then, said the cat, it doesn’t
matter.” ~Lewis Carroll from
Alice’s Adventures in
Wonderland
You have to know where you want
to go in order to get there!
Wouldn’t you rather someone tell you
what they are expecting or desiring
rather than you waste your time trying to figure it out? Don’t we owe others the same courtesy!
C O M MUNI CAT IO N AN D T A L K ING A RE NOT O N E A N D T HE S A ME
As George Bernard Shaw said,
The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place.
3. We need to occasionally evaluate or check in to make sure we are communicating effectively.
The game of life is a game of boomerangs. Our thoughts, deeds and words return to us sooner or
later with astounding accuracy. ~Florence Scovel Shinn
If we don’t know what we want and work to make our thoughts, deeds, and words match that, we are not taking
control of our lives. You are sending out an energy signal whether you realize it or not. Wouldn’t you rather take control
of that signal and receive your desired outcome?
Go out and communicate with the world in clarity and purpose!
