  • 1. BOMB ATTACK IN RUSSIA
  • 2. Ingush capital of Nazran, local police were standing to attention in the courtyard of their headquarters to receive their orders for the day, when a bomber drove a truck loaded with explosives into the gates of the building.
The blast set the building alight destroying much of it and many of the vehicles parked there. Local officials have warned that the number of dead could still rise as local apartment blocks were also hit and children were amongst the wounded. The bombing is one of the deadliest in months and damages the Kremlin's claims that the Republic's new president is bringing the region under control.
The Ingush president Yunus-Bek Yevkurov, who was still convalescing after surviving an assassination attempt in June, spoke about the attack this morning. He pointed the finger at the West saying that it was behind the blast. He said that western powers would never allow Russia to reclaim its status as a world power.

This is the biggest attack in Europe to date, with 10 nearly simultaneous explosions on four trains during rush hour in the morning (between 07:36 and 07:40). Later, after attempting to deactivate, the police detonated in a controlled, two bombs that had exploded, disabling a third party who would, through its contents, start the preliminary investigations that lead to the identification of perpetrators. 191 people were killed and 1858 wounded.A few weeks later, police located and rounded up several members of the terrorist commando in Leganés. Finding himself cornered, its members committed suicide, setting off the floor on which they had barricaded themselves, this being the first suicide attack in Europe, just when they realized that the GEO began the assault. In this action the group killed one police officer, in addition to all members of the Islamist cell who were present. It was the first bombing attack in Spain Islamic court. Before the Islamic attack occurred at the restaurant "El Descanso" in 1985 that left 18 dead.
