    He charged through the gap, outflanking the main force and placing himself on the Thebans right flank (left for the Thebans).

    Once in a good position Alexander charged the slow unmaneuverable phalanx.

    With the Thebans destroyed Alexander and the remainder of his cavalry charged the main force from the rear.

  • 10. Philip saw this and moved forward mowing them down while Alexander did hammer and anvil strikes destroying the Greek army.
