Almost everyone wants to become popular on Instagram. When you have a large following, you
command respect from everyone who views your profile.
Being popular on Social Media is important if you are an individual or a business. When you are
popular as an individual you will look cool and worthy of attention. When your business is popular it
will look reputable and high-quality.
In this 5 parts of guide, we will show you how to get more followers on Instagram. There are several
options for you, we will discuss them one by one.

Instagram is a Social Media Platform. Interaction is key. Do You Know?
Businesses often believe it is hard to monitor the particular ROI regarding Social Media Marketing.

attention, you had to interact with them. What we need to do is:
Like your targeted people's photo
Comment on your targeted people's photo
Follow your targeted people
That is simple! But how do we find targeted people? Here we will use a free tool call "Iconosquare"
(www.iconosquare.com)
Iconosquare is a Instagram Webviewer, which mean, you can manage your Instagram account on
your computer. You can like photos, comment photos, follow people, unfollow people, check your
inbox (dms). The most important function here, is to search our target audience.
You need to login with your Instagram account on Iconosquare, what you need to do is click on top
right hand icon "Sign in with Instagram". You will be prompt to enter your username and password.
Don't worry here, as you can see on the url it is on instagram, so your password is safe.

3. Once you had sign in to your account, just select your timezone and insert your email, Iconosquare
will send you daily statistic about your account.
We will let you explore the interface of Iconosquare. Now we need to discuss how to get targeted
followers.
On top right hand side, beside your account profile picture, you will see a search box with "Search
for users or hashtags", this is what we are looking for now.
Key in the hashtag or username that you are looking for. For example, you are promoting baby
products, then you should search for baby product related hashtag / user.
Let's say, my account is regarding healthy fruit juice recipe, so I will search for #fitness, #health,
#dieses, #juice and so on. You get the idea.
Search for user who are in the same niche or related to your account. People who follow a fitness
instagram account will like healthy fruit juice as well.

4. The picture above is the result of searching "fitness". As you can see, this is a BIG topic. On your left
is the user who had "fitness" in their username, and on right hand side is the hashtag and how many
photos/videos are having that hashtag.
Now let's click on the hashtag "fitness" on the top right. You will be looking at all the photos / videos
with #fitness.
Click on "List View" icon (the middle icon on top right) and get the list view of all the
photos and videos.
Now from here you can comment, like the photos. Just keep comment and like the photos so you get
those users attention. In our research and experience, you will get about 30-60% follow back,
depends on your account's quality. If you post crappy / low quality photos, the percentage will be
lower.
Likes and follow are both simple action. Double tap on the photo, go to that user profile and hit
follow. But for comment we will need some common sense. We all like people to say nice things
about ourself. We share photos / videos on Instagram, and hopefully to get some 'social approval'
from people, and comment with bad / sales words at their photos will not make people happy. Use
praise words like 'Awesome!', 'Perfect shot!', 'Love this so much!!', and remember to include some
nice emoji!
Note here, Instagram do have limits on how many likes, comments and follow you can perform on
hourly basis. DO NOT EXCEED THOSE LIMITS!! You will risk your account for being temporary
block for like, comment, follow and unfollow, or one of the situation below:
A password reset email in your inbox from Instagram. This is simple, just follow the link in that email
and reset your password. Wait for 1-2 days and continue your task, but on slower pace.
A Captcha prompt. Instagram will show you some random text and ask you to key in, to verify that

5. you are not a bot. Key in whatever you see and you are good. Stop your task and continue next day
with slower pace.
Account banned! No solution, unless you know someone who work in Instagram and ask them
unbanned your account.
Limit imposed by Instagram on hourly and daily basis: (the limits are more strict for fresh new
account, take note)
Like photos: 100/hour
Comment on photos: 60/hour
Follow others: 60/hour
However, on daily basis, we will limit ourself from doing too much with the below limit:
Like: 1200 max
Comment: 350 max
Follow: 300 max
With the above limit, we never have any account banned. However, start with lower limit and adjust
on weekly basis until you max out the limits.
