9. 9. Source of emissions Earth's most abundant greenhouse gases are: Water vapour
 10. 10.

Greenhouse gas emissions are usually reported in tonnes of CO2 equivalent (CO2e). Global Warming Potential (GWP) are used to calculate the CO2 equivalent of other greenhouse gases.

A bottle of refrigerant = 30 tonnes CO2e [HFC134a,22.7kg]

A fire extinguisher = 479 tonnes CO2e [FM200,126kg]

One kilowatt hour =

0.9987 kg CO2e in South China

1.0069 kg CO2e in North China

0.742 kg CO2e in Hong Kong Island

0.57 kg in Kowloon and New Territories

A round trip between Beijing and Hong Kong = 0.45tonnes CO2e

Source of Emissions
 11. 11. Source of emissions Scope 2 accounts for indirect GHG emissions from the generation of purchased electricity, steam, and heating/cooling. Scope 3 is all the other indirect GHG emissions such as employees business travel, employees commuting to and from work, use of sold products or services, etc… Scope 1 is the direct GHG emissions occur from sources that are owned or controlled by the companies
