I want to be a normal girl living in a normal life but that’s never going to happen.

The only person that calls me Lola is my mum and dad!

My name is Lola and basically I’m a really ugly girl and everyone calls me elephant because I’m fat. Hey elephant Oh look it’s elephant Lola dinner

I put the box back and I ran home

One day I went to the supermarket. I was walking and suddenly I see a box that has goggles inside! On the box it says “Imagine yourself how you want to be” I ran to the sales woman and asked.. Um I don’t think you can afford this! It’s a really expansive product. It’s 700 dirham. How much is this? Suddenly I remember that I have money saved up At home .

I ran home and rushed to my room! I opened the closet and saw the box that had my money! I opened it up and took out my 700 dirham. I ran back to the super market, and rushed to the place where I put the box. I grabbed the box and went to the cashier and paid for it! She must be rich 700 dirham

I was so happy when I bought the goggles because I can finally imagine myself as someone different, someone with a better life! I went back home and ran to my room! I put the goggles on and imagined my self as a skinny popular girl cheerleading and everyone cheering for me and not calling me elephant! Then something distracted me it was my mum! She was calling me but before I went downstairs I looked at myself in the mirror and saw the same ugly girl.

Suddenly I got an idea..! I could have a makeover. I can diet. I can exercise. I could get a haircut and end up looking like one of the cheerleaders! I ran downstairs to my mum and told her about the idea and she said “Go for it honey anything to make you happy  ”

I plucked my eyebrows, had a haircut, dieted, put make up and ended up looking like the girl I’ve always wanted to look like. I couldn’t wait to go to school.

x When I went to school everyone was surprised and they really liked my looks! I joined the cheerleading team and I was best friends with the popular girls! No one ever mentioned elephant!

I guess I’m a normal girl living in a normal life.

If it weren't for virtual reality I would have never thought of changing my looks so I think that virtual reality helps us a lot as long as we’re not addicted to it.
