Highland Airways was an airline based in Inverness, Scotland which ceased trading
in 2010 after failing to secure new investment. The Prestwick-built Jetstream 31,
which had been owned by the airline had to be sold to pay off debts.
Administrators PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC) confirmed that the aircraft,
registered as G-UIST was sold for a specific purpose which also led to employment
and boosted the local economy of the Scottish Highlands by generating £1.1m.
PwC partner Bruce Cartwright said: "There was real diversity in the notes of
interest in purchasing the planes after the airline went out of business. This
included film production firms, who appear to schedule activity years in advance. We
never imagined that they would look for them via an administration."

Beth Howard, a resident of Eldon, Iowa sits at her kitchen table and pulls back the
curtain to peer at a group of youths with grim faces and dour portrayals taking
pictures on her front lawn.
"People seldom know that people live here, much less that there's someone watching
them from the other side of the curtain," says Howard.
The interior of the house is off-limits to visitors, but Howard's lease with the owner,
the state historical society, includes a clause stating that she has to be nice to
interlopers. Tourists sometimes tramp into the house, ignoring the sign that says
"Private residence. Please do not disturb." At night, they'll train their headlights on
the house. Then again, the rent is just $250 a month.

In September last year, the University of New Hampshire started offering a new
course on this. While the class explores how law and journalism impact sports in
general, it has also had a few science tutorials to teach the students.
“These scientists, who are all doctors, are going to answer all the questions you’ve
been dying to know but I can’t answer because I’m not a scientist,” professor Michael
McCann said to his students, many of whom were perched on the edge of their seats,
trying to catch a glimpse of the props in the room.
The three scientists were John Leonard, an MIT engineering professor, and UNH

Wosnik, who teaches in the school of marine science and ocean engineering. The
lessons learned have been invaluable for anyone pursuing a legal career or simply
wanting to win an argument with friends.

Operation Torch was the British-American invasion of French North Africa during
the North African campaign of World War II. The Americans attacked at three
different locations in French North Africa, one of the three being the landings at X
because of its important port and the major administrative centers.
X was an important strategic port during World War II and hosted the X Conference
in 1943, in which Churchill and Roosevelt discussed the progress of the war. It was
also the site of a large American air base, which was the staging area for all
American aircraft for the European Theater of Operations during World War II.
Why did this operation lead to something being moved from the spring of 1943 to
November 26, 1942?

was rushed to take advantage of the publicity during the invasion.

As a pilot for British charter airline Astraeus Airlines, he routinely flew
unconventional clients around the world. In 2008, for example, he flew an RAF
squadron back home after duty in Afghanistan.
In October 2010, he took the controls of a Boeing 737 to fly a football team from John
Lennon International Airport to a Europa League tie in Napoli. The match ended in
a 0-0 draw, but the passengers said they were incredibly excited when they found out

convicted for armed robbery and later sentenced to death by hanging. In
her 2014 novel, author and journalist Nina Siegal tells his life story,
based on documents about his criminal history that she discovered in the
Amsterdam city archives.
Set in one day in 1632, the novel focuses on Kindt, Flora, his pregnant
lover; Jan Fetchet, the curio dealer who acquires corpses and René
Descartes who was on quest to understand where the human soul

For over two decades, Chris Toal, a qualified therapist has researched upon the
science of remedial deep tissue therapy. He studied something specific and said the
reason that it might have such an impact was because it centred on myofascia, the
name for the thin, but super tough, tissue that surrounds muscles. Like a gel and
semi solid under static conditions, this tissue moves easily when shaken, heated or
stressed - as happens during such a performance.
Unlike stretching, this wakes up the muscles, connects the proprioceptors on the
skins surface to the tissue underneath. It stimulates the body by increasing blood
pressure, suppresses the immune system and creates a burst of energy. This leads to
the mind getting into a fully alert challenged state, while the verbal form itself itself
opens up the airways and helps get the heart ready. Essentially, it is one of the most

writing Breakfast at Tiffany's. While here, he also wrote Brooklyn Heights: A

the 1971 adaptation is subtle in some places and blatant in others. X's '87 work
includes the final chapter of the original text, while the '71 work did not. Most
prominently, a stage direction at the end of Act Two of the stage adaptation reads “A

X's first novel, Waverley (1814), the protagonist is brought to Doune Castle by the
Jacobites. The novel describes the "gloomy yet picturesque structure", with its "half-
ruined turrets". The castle was used as a location in MGM's 1952 historical film Y
starring Robert Taylor and Elizabeth Taylor, which was an adaptation of one of X's
most famous works.
Where we might have seen this castle the most is in a 1974 film, Z. The film's
producers had gained permission from the National Trust for Scotland to film scenes
at several of their Scottish castles. However, the National Trust later withdrew their
permission, leaving the producers with little time to find new locations. Instead, they
decided to use different parts of Doune Castle to depict the various fictional castles
in the film, relying on tight framing of shots to maintain the illusion.

geographic profiling, a sophisticated form of statistical analysis used in criminology
to try and narrow down possible locations where a certain repeat offender might be
living. The academics selected 140 of these in London and Bristol and using publicly
available information, the researchers concluded that those locations were all places
lived in or frequented by Robin Gunningham.
The academic team included Dr Kim Rossmo of the Texas State University, a
criminologist and former detective who pioneered geoprofiling. In criminology, the
technique relies on the assumption that crime happens close to where the person
responsible lives. Legal intervention did not alter the research, which was published
in the Journal of Spatial Science after a short delay.

the man used to play to clear his mind in the humdrum of WWII. Churchill taught
the game to a young Belgian foreign office man named Andre de Staercke in 1943.

America's ambassador to NATO under Nixon. With the demise of Churchill and De
Staercke, this man realised that he was perhaps the last carrier of the game's great
