( May 23, 2010) <ul><li>What are the chief benefits obtained by the use of sacramentals? </li></ul>The chief benefits obtained by the use of sacramentals are: 1 st actual graces; 2 nd the forgiveness of venial sins ; 3 rd the remission of temporal punishment ; 4 th health of body and material blessings ; 5 th protection from evil spirits.
