Fan Into Flame “ That is why I am reminding you now to fan into flame the gift of God that you possess through the laying on of my hands. God did not give us a Spirit of timidity, but the Spirit of power and love and self-control.” 2 Tim:1: 6-7

Spirituality of the Sisters of St Charles Borromeo
The aim of the Congregation is to provide its members with the means of following Jesus more closely by the profession of the evangelical counsels…S.C.B.C.No.1
The call to follow Jesus, the only One in whom we find fulfillment springs from the Father’s eternal plan. It is an initiative of love; which expects a free, daring and humble response. It implies a filial love for the Father and a personal love for Jesus; which have to be deepened daily through renewed fidelity to the inspirations of the Holy Spirit. S.C.B. C. No. 5
… Our prayer must be, above all, contemplation of Jesus.
This contemplation lived out especially in daily meditation, helps us to let ourselves be transformed by His Spirit and to show forth in our life his love for the Father and his tenderness towards humanity. S.C.B. C. No 34

The Holy Trinity Rublev,1411. Tretyakov Gallery, Moscow It is also known as the Hospitality of Abraham - Genesis 18: 1-5 COMMUNION IS ROOTED IN THE LIFE OF THE TRINITY
Three angels receive hospitality from Abraham and Sarah in the grove of Mamre.
The one on the left symbolizes God the Father, the central figure is Jesus Christ
The angel on the right is the Holy Spirit .
Communication Creates Communion THE SPIRITUALITY OF THE TRINITY IS A WAY OF LIFE IN WHICH WE BECOME; PART OF GOD’S SPEAKING……COMMUNICATION BREATHING /GIVING LIFE …….COMMUNION AND LOVING……………………...COMPASSION
We need to recognize that the same light of the mystery of the Trinity dwells within us, dwells within our brothers and sisters as well. It means that we are linked with our brothers and sisters of faith “in profound unity of the Mystical Body of Christ”

St. Charles’ Devotion to the Passion of Jesus and the Holy Eucharist S.C.B. C. 38…The Holy Eucharist celebrated daily during which we receive the Body of Christ is the perfect community prayer. If circumstances do not allow its daily celebration, we must be eager to meet regularly for a community celebration with the reception of Holy Communion wherever it is allowed.
The Eucharist is the sign and instrument par excellence At the heart of the mystery of the Church is the bond of communion uniting God with humanity and humans with one another. Of which the Eucharist is the sign and instrument par excellence. The communion is rooted at its deepest level in the life of the Trinity in whom there is a perfect communion of equals.
Mary is the Child of the Father, she is the Mother of the Son, and the Bride of the Holy Spirit … The Virgin Mary received a unique grace of intimate union with God is the model for our prayer life. Since silence dwelt in the depth of her soul and created in her a listening attitude, she surrendered herself to the transforming presence of her Son. Like Mary we surrender ourselves to the divine action, so that Christ, whom we wish to give to the world, will shine forth more and more through us.
Compassion invites us to build (create) save (heal) and grow (strong) in Communion
To live a true Christian life is to be compassionate towards self and others.
… The charism of the Sisters of St. Charles Borromeo is to incarnate the compassionate love of God for all people, especially the poor and marginalized and to impart Christian education through all our ministries… S.C.B.C. No. 1
