Restoring the Creator-Creature Relation Psalms 57:5
“The Cause of all our human miseries is a radical moral dislocation, an upset in our relation to God and to each other.”
Romans 1:25 “who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever.” NKJV
2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” NKJV
Romans 8:1 Romans 8:4 “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.” “That the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.” NKJV
1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” NKJV
Titus 2:12 “teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age” Galatians 5:22-23 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.”
God is the only one we should measure everything by Malachi 3:6 “For I am the Lord, I do not change.”
Exodus 3:14 “And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, I AM has sent me to you” NKJV
God is not a Vending Machine! Yet We Reduce Him To One!
John 8:34 “Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin.” NKJV
“ The sinner prides himself on his independence, completely overlooking the fact that he is the weak slave of the sins that rule his members. The man who surrenders to Christ exchanges a cruel slave driver for a kind and gentle Master whose yoke is easy and whose burden is light.”
Psalms 21:13 “Be exalted, O Lord, in Your own strength! We will sing and praise Your power.”
Revelation 4:11 “You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and by Your will they exist and were created.” NKJV
1 Samuel 2:30 “…for those who honor Me I will honor…” John 12:26 “If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My father will honor.” NKJV
What is our Motive? God knows the intent of our heart Am I Honoring God?
“While the imagination races ahead to honor God, the will may lag behind and the man must make the decision before the heart can know any real satisfaction. God wants the whole person and He will not rest till He gets us in entirety. No Part of the man will do.”
Rise, O Lord, into Thy proper place of honor, above my ambitions, above my likes and dislikes, above my family, my health and even my life itself. Let me sink that Thou mayest rise above. Amen.
Worshiping God for who He is. Getting us out of th more
Worshiping God for who He is. Getting us out of the picture: "less of us and more of Him". This is the way God meant for us to be but because of sin things got out of whack. Now God is placing all the pieces of the puzzle back in our lives. That starts with a relationship with Him. Trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior and that He died on the cross for our sins. less
