The Sacrament of Living “Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.” 1 Corinthians 10:31 KJV
Our Lives Divided Into Two Areas: GREATEST HINDRANCE
Isaiah 26:3 “You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.” NKJV
“Therefore, whether you eat, or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God” 1 Corinthians 10:31 NKJV
“It is not what a man does that determines whether his work is sacred or secular; it is why he does it. ” The Motive is everything!
“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” NKJV Matthew 5:16
Deuteronomy 10:12 “And now, Israel what does the Lord your God require of you, but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways and to love Him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul.” NKJV
2 John 1:6 “This is love, that we walk according to his commandments. This is the commandment, that as you have heard from the beginning, you should walk in it.” NKJV
John 8:28-29 His Whole Life Was Pleasing To The Lord
Holy Days and Rituals Hebrews 10:19-22
Christ Changed the Way We Worship John 4:21-24
Do All To The Glory of God
“The end we ought to propose to ourselves is to become, in this life, the most perfect worshippers of God we can possibly be, and as we hope to be through all eternity.”
Tozer’s Prayer: “Lord, I would trust Thee completely; I would be altogether Thine; I would exalt Thee above all. I desire that I may feel no sense of possessing anything outside of Thee. I want constantly to be aware of Thy overshadowing presence and to hear Thy speaking voice. I long to live in restful sincerity of heart. I want to live so fully in the Spirit that all my thoughts may be as sweet incense ascending to Thee and every act of my life may be an act of worship. Therefore I pray in the words of Thy great servant of old, "I beseech Thee so for to cleanse the intent of mine heart with the unspeakable gift of Thy grace, that I may perfectly love Thee and worthily praise Thee. And all this I confidently believe Thou wilt grant me through the merits of Jesus Christ Thy Son. Amen.”

"Do ALL to the glory of God" I Corinthians 10:31. Following on with A.W. Tozer's book: The Pursuit of God, we learn that God wants us to do anything and everything for His glory. Tozer shows that we often make the mistake of making the sacred secular and need to make the secular sacred. You work at a fast food restaurant, God is with you there and you need to glorify God with every thing you do while at that job. Not only that, you should feel His presence with you at that job. This applies to everyday for the rest of our lives. less
