These photos were taken around the village of Astam, Nepal, both in Upper and Lower Astam. The village is located approximately 20km North-West of the town of Pokhara in the foothills of the Annapurna mountain ranges. Astam is the site of Logged On’s 2011 project to install a Computer Centre for the benefit of the community and to improve the education outcomes of the local school children.

The Logged On Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation that uses computers and the internet to improve the state of education in less fortunate communities and to connect them to a world of ideas, services, entrepreneurial activities, and knowledge exchange.
