  • Robert Vallier, known as The Phoenix , will be flying his single-engine aircraft 25,000 miles across America in 2007, to every State - including Hawaii. The Phoenix was in the air again for some more training and preparation recently and flew several routes, including one from Rialto, California, to Carson City, Nevada - a round-trip of c.800 miles.  The Picture is of The Sierra Nevada Mountains, taken from the cockpit by The Phoenix .
