  • About The Author  My name is Logan.My favorite genre is horror.My favorite color is blue.I’m writing about the Duckbill platypus.
  • Who Am I???  I am writing facts about the duckbill platypus. The platypus life span is up to 16 years If they live in the wild they live about 10 years. The back legs of the platypus have more power than the front legs.
  • The early years The platypus lays 3 eggs underwater it takes 8 months for the eggs to hatch. The baby platypus has no hair, small legs, and keep their eyes shut. The baby platypuses stay in their burrow for six weeks.
  • Habitat sweet habitat The duckbill platypus lives in a burrow underwater with plenty of plat life and small fish, frogs, bugs, or worms and plenty of space.
  • What’s on the menu  The platypus eats small fish, worms, and bugs. The platypus eats underwater or above water.
  • Making Tracks  The platypuses track are webbed and have 3 nails. The platypuses webbed feet help it swim faster.
  • Simply Irresistible  Because of the platypus thick fur it can swim under water. The platypus is one of the two mammals that lays eggs.
  • Were in the world?  The platypus is found in astrailia.
  • Did you know 1.The platypus and the 3.platypus don’t Long nosed ant eater have teeth. Are the only mammals That lay eggs. 2.The platypus can sweat Milk and that’s how it feeds It’s young.
