About the Author
Some things I like are

and playing webkinz on
the computer.
The reason that I pick
the Blue Jay because I
am very interest in
them and I see them
every day at my house.
I also wanted to learn
more about this kind of
bird.
Who I am?
The only thing different
between the male and
the female is that the
male is bigger than the
female. The Blue Jays
are light blue with a
gray belly. Blue Jay are
song bird. Very few
birds like the Blue Jay
because they eat other
birds egg.
The Early years
The eggs are sky blue
with black speaks.
When they are born
their eyes are closed,
they are wet,and they
don’t have any feathers
. They stay with their
parents until they are
two years old. The
baby Blue jay is in the
egg for seventeen to
eighteen days.
Habitat Sweet Habitat
The habitat is a
forest and it gets a
far amount of rain a
year. It has all four
seasons.
What’s on the menu?
The thing that the
Blue Jays eat the
most is nuts. They
find them In trees
and on the ground.
They also eat
seeds, grains, and
fresh fruit right off
the trees and
bushes.
Making Tracks
The tracks are three
inches long, and two
inches in width.
They have three
claws, and can you
can see the tracks
in the snow and
mud. The talons are
black with yellow
specks.
Simply Irresistible!
Now I am going to tell
you about some
interesting facts. Did
you know that the
breeding season is
from March to July?
The Average eggs are
3 to 6 per spring. If the
Blue Jay lives in the
wild it’s life span is
seven years.
Where in the world

Canada and North Eastern hemisphere
of the United States. The Blue jays
