  • 2. About The Author  Hi! My name is Krystal. My likes are dogs, cats, horses, and of course zebras. I picked zebras because they’re kind of horses, but they are NOT horses.
  • 3. Who Am I  Zebras can be 45 to 60 inches from the shoulder. All zebras are black and white. They can weigh 485 up to 990 pounds.
  • 4. The Early Years  It takes 12 to13 mouths to develop in their mothers stomach. When a foal is born, the mother keeps away other zebras from the foal for 2 or 3 days
  • 5. Habitat Sweet Habitat Burchell ’ s zebras inhabit from treeless grasslands to open woodlands. Some zebra’s are now mainly restricted to parts of northern Kenya.
  • 6. What’s on the Menu  Most zebra’s eat herbivores. Zebras are avid grazers. Grevy zebras are in search of green pasture.
  • 7. Making tracks  You would find these track by the water. You could also find Zebra tracks in the sand.
  • 8. Simply Irresistible  Most zebras get eating by hunting dogs,lions,chee tahs, hyenas ,and leopards.
  • 9. Where in the World  They mostly live all over AFRICA.
  • 10. Facts  Romans called  Grevy zebras Grevy zebras can weigh 770 “hippotigris”. to 990 pounds. All zebras don’t Zebras can get all look alike. hunted by hunting dogs.
