    • individual faculty choice of method
    • standardized evaluation and reporting
    • collaborative response
  • 3. Step 1: Develop objectives in terms of what students should be able to do in the discipline’s courses. SLO #1 SLO #2 SLO #3 SLO #4 apply to all History courses different for each GE area
  • 4. Step 2: Set a standard for success. 70% or more correct for that SLO = good less than 70% = may need evalution of SLO or teaching method/material
  • 5. Step 3: Faculty choice of method + standardized reporting department sample assessment individual faculty assessment assignment treated as assessment
  • 6. Step 4: Make everything easy to find Schedule SLOs Sample tests Reporting forms
