    • SNAPSHOT OF OUR COMPANY NewStar t is a social enterprise whose goal is to act as a safe, confidential alternative for women in Kandahar, Afghanistan who want to escape dangerous or damaging home situations . The shelter will act as an empowerment center where women learn the skills to be self-reliant The women will raise and sell livestock, dairy, and eggs for two reasons:  1: To help support the center’s costs  2: To provide affordable food to the surrounding area
