  • 2. We are the Northern California Chapter of The Legal Marketing Association We’re here LMA, as a whole, has: • Over 3000 members • 19 Chapters, 26 City Groups • 11 Committees, 3 Task Forces We have: • 179 members • 2 City Groups (& one more coming!) • 6 Committees
  • 3. We are a “big tent” – we welcome all! To achieve our goal as the “The Authority for Legal Marketing,” we welcome all parties who are engaged in marketing and business development in the legal industry We achieve our mission by providing superior educational programming, mentoring and networking opportunities
  • 4. We offer many educational and networking events for legal marketers In 2013, we offered 20 events
  • 5. We tailor our programs to different segments of our market We offer monthly educational programs for legal marketing professionals We develop programs that appeal to entry- and midlevel marketers, senior marketers, small & solo practitioners, and technology specialists We conduct three closed door “Lead Marketer Roundtables” per year where senior marketers can share ideas We offer “small & solo” programming in collaboration with the Bar Association of San Francisco on topics of interest to small firms We produce an annual technology conference to educate marketers and technology specialists

We regularly collaborate with other legal organizations We work with the Bar Association of San Francisco (BASF) to deliver quality “small & solo” practice programs We work with local ALA chapters to cross promote programs We work with the local ILTA chapter develop technology programs and to cross promote programs Recognizing that legal marketing is not only practiced by dedicated inhouse legal marketers, LMA-Bay Area Chapter works with other local legal industry organizations to develop and deliver quality legal marketing education
  • 7. We reach many people throughout the San Francisco Bay Area Sacramento, Silicon Valley and the East Bay connect to our monthly programs through web conferencing Those regions also conduct their own programs, networking events and socials
