    Medieval Tapestry (….cough…made out of Roll Paper …..cough …..and basic Art supplies)
  • 2. In the MIDDLE-AGES, Tapestries were used by the wealthy & noble to decorate their castles and palaces. Tapestries told stories, myths and religious parables and showed symbols of the power and glory of the owner.
    They were also handy room dividers and helped keep drafty castles warmer!
    Tapestries used figures, symbols, words, decorative borders, rich colors and patterns
