      • O.M. resides in the minds of its employees and in the relationships that employees tap on an ongoing basis to accomplish work.
      • O.M can be stored in repositories and can also be embedded in work processes, products and service offerings.
      • Managers can improve performance by developing O.M. And can be used to guide organisational activities and decision making

      • Yes – O.M. Can be applied in all departments of Afribank.
      • Personal Relationships - people usually rely upon a network of relationships for information and advice.
      • Databases – Reports, Memos and other work documents, intra-mails etc.
      • Work processes and Support Systems – Experiential lessons become part of O.M. By means of alterations in processes or support systems.
      • Products and Services – Organisation’s key product or service offerings constitute a powerful form of ongoing memory.
      • The concept of O.M. is not new and is obtainable in Afribank. O.M. promotes network of relationships, communities of practice through informal groups of individuals that interact regularly around work related issues and challenges.
