3. OneSearch
MyEBSCOhost is available through
OneSearch and any EBSCOhost
database. To access OneSearch, either
perform a search in the OneSearch
box, or just click Search.
4. Sign In to MyEBSCOhost
To sign in or create an account, click
the Sign In option at top, right.

Create a new account the first time
that you use MyEBSCOhost
6. When logged in:
Once logged in, you will see the option
to Sign Out.
In specific databases, the EBSCO logo
may also appear different.
7. Saving Citations
When viewing an article or
book of interest, choose the
Add to folder option at the
right to save it.
If you have not set up custom
folders the article will
automatically be saved to your
default folder. If you have set
up custom folders, then they
will appear as the bottom
picture.

different folders and create new

Folders can also be shared with other
MyEBSCOhost users.

Do you have a favorite
search that you perform
regularly?
Consider setting up a
search alert to let you
know when new items
have matched that
search.
After performing your
search, select the Share
option at right.

also copy the persistant
link which will can be
saved or shared with
others. Click the link to
re-run the search.

For e-mail alerts, just
set your preferences
(frequency of e-mail,
appearance, format,
etc.) before saving the
alert.
14. Search Alerts
Alerts can be deleted or edited after
they’ve been created. Find your alerts
by clicking the Folder option at the top
of the page, and selecting search alerts
at left.

Journal Alerts need to be set up from a
specific EBSCOhost database, rather
than fro OneSearch.
To find your database, select the
Databases A-Z tab, and then Databases
A-Z.

Remember that it needs to be an
EBSCOhost to work with
MyEBSCOhost.

However, if you forget to do this, you
