  • 2. <ul><li>Domra - an ancient Russian national musical instrument. </li></ul><ul><li>In Russian language this word sounds like . « До́мра » . </li></ul><ul><li>There are two versions of domra origin. </li></ul><ul><li>From them it is possible to draw a conclusion that it is typically Russian instrument which unites in itself the European and Asian lines . </li></ul>
  • 3. <ul><li>Domra is made of wood . </li></ul><ul><li>Domra’s making is a difficult process. Making of one instrument takes lots of time. </li></ul><ul><li>In a year master produces about 40 instruments. </li></ul>
  • 4. <ul><li>The domra enters in the group of string instrument. </li></ul>
  • 5. <ul><li>The domra is used as an orchestral instrument and as a soloist instrument. </li></ul>
