Mengungkapkan makna dan langkah retorika dalam esei pendek sederhana dengan menggunakan ragam bahasa tulis secara akurat, lancer dan berterima untuk berinteraksi dengan lingkungan sekitar dalam teks berbentuk descriptive dan recount. 4. TUJUAN PEMBELAJARAN - Siswa mampu mengeerjakan latihan dengan melengkapi teks rumpang berbentuk invitation - Siswa dapat menyusun kata menjadi teks fungsional yang bermakna - Siswa mampu menulis teks fungsional pendek berbentuk invitation 6. MATERI AJAR Kalau Anda menolak sesuatu, maka tolaklah dengan cara dan bahasa/ekspresi yang sopan, sehingga tidak akan menyinggung perasaan orang yang menawarkannya kepada Anda. Adapun cara menolak dengan cara yang sopan perhatikan contoh-contoh ekspresinya berikut ini: . Inviting, Accepting & Declining Invitation Inviting:  Would you like to ….  Could you come to…  I’d very much like  Would you care to ….  I’ll really happy if you come to….  I’m sure that you won’t be disappointed to come to…. Accepting an Invitation  Thank you for inviting me.  I would/will ….

Arif : Hmm, like you know, next week we will have summer vacation to Bali and I think that I need you to be my date. Would you mind to come along with me? Tika : Really? I’d love it so much. Arif : Well, I will pick you at 7 a.m next week at school. Tika : OK. Thanks Arif. Arif : You’re welcome. Bye Tika and see you next week. Tika : See you, too. Bye-bye.

KEGIATAN PEMBELAJARAN  Kegiatan Awal - Mengucapkan salam dengan ramah kepada siswa ketika memasuki kelas dan ketika memulai pelajaran. (nilai yang diutamakan: santun, peduli) - Memeriksa kehadiran siswa (nilai yang diutamakan: disiplin, rajin) - Mengaitkan materi yang akan dipelajari dengan mengajak siswa untuk menebak/memberi jawaban atas petunjuk-petunjuk yang diberikan guru kepada siswa  Kegiatan inti (50’) 1. Eksplorasi o Memberikan stimulus berupa pemberian materi mengenai cara membaca dan juga tentang mengidentifikasi topic maupun isi dari materi maupun informasi tertentu dari teks yang dibaca o Mendiskusikan materi bersama siswa ,mengenai mengidentifikasi teks bacaan dengan benar
  • 7. o Memberikan kesempatan kepada siswa untuk mengkomunikasikan secara lisan mengenai teks tulis yang dibahas, mengidentifikasi topic dari teks yang dibahas, berhubugan dengan penyelesaian suatu soal o Siswa diminta untuk melengkapi teks rumpang berbentuk invitation, mengidentifikasi topic dari teks yang dibaca dan informasi tertentu 2. Elaborasi o Membiasakan siswa untuk mengerjakan bentuk-bentuk latihan seperti melengkapi teks rumpang o Siswa diminta untuk membaca dan mencoba mengerjakan bentuk latihan soal yang diberikan 3. Konfirmasi o Memberikan umpan balik kepada siswa dengan member penguatan dalam bentuk lisan kepada siswa yang telah dapat menyelesaikan tugasnya o Member konfirmasi pada pekerjaan yang sudah dikerjakanoleh siswa melalui sumber buku lain o Memfasilitasi siswa melalui refleksi untuk memperoleh pengalaman belajar yang sudah dilakukan o Memotivasi siswa yang kurang dan belum bisa mengikuti dalam materi mengenai cara melengkapi teks rumpang dalam suatu teks 9.
