    • The Wise Ones will follow these orange directions
    • The Foolish Ones will follow these yellow directions
    • Both colours will mean both Foolish and Wise respond.

    • Line up on chancel , facing congregation

    • Narrator:
    • Five were foolish.
    • Wise ones point at the Foolish Ones
  • 9.
    • Narrator:
    • Five were wise.
    • Foolish Ones look behind them, wondering who is being pointed at.
  • 10.
    • Narrator:
    • The foolish young women took lamps that burned oil for light, but they took no extra oil.
    • The smart young women took jars of oil to keep their lamps burning.
    • Turned out the bridegroom didn’t show up when they expected him. So - they all fell asleep waiting.

    • Narrator:

    • Heads fall sideways and snoring begins

    • In the middle of the night someone yelled out! “ He’s here! The bridegroom’s here! Go out and greet him!”

    • Suddenly wake up!

    • Lift lamps over heads

    • Peer out into the distance. . .

    • The ten got up and got their lamps ready.
    • The foolish ones said to the smart ones, “Our lamps are going out; lend us some of your oil..?”

    • Foolish Ones put out one hand
    • to beg from the Smart Ones

    • Narrator:
    • The others answered, “But there might not be enough to go around; go buy your own.”
    • Smart Ones put a hand on their hip

    • Narrator:

    • Foolish ones drop their begging hand

    • Narrator:
    • So they did.
    • Foolish ones turn (the way they came)
    • Take 3 steps to exit
    • FREEZE (STAY FROZEN)

    • But while they were out buying oil, the bridegroom arrived. Everyone who was there to greet him went into the wedding feast.
    • Smart Ones smile!

    • Wave, adjust clothes, freshen up

    • They knocked on the door, saying: “Master, we’re here! Let us in!”
    • Foolish Ones look hopefully down the aisle

    • He answered, “Do I know you? I don’t think I know you.”
    • Foolish Ones look baffled
  • 30.
    • Narrator:
    • So, Jesus said to the people: “Stay on your toes!
    • Be watchful, for you have no idea when God will call you.”
  • 31.
    • Narrator:
    • So, Jesus said to the people: “Stay on your toes!

    • Foolish Ones lift hands in a big shrug.

    • Narrator:
