2. In 393AD a powerful underwater
earthquake caused a huge tsunami witch
destroyed most of Olympia and the ancient
Olympics came to a end. About 1500 years
later a man named Pierre De Couberdin
brought the Olympics back to life by
starting the games up again.

3. The great
depression 1932
At the Olympics in Los Angeles 1932 a great
number of Olympians did not atend because of
the great depression which means they or there
country or them didn't have enough money to go.

4. The war
The war was one of the disruptions of the
olympic games. If there was a war going on
that involved Greece, they would excuse
Greece so the games could carry on. But in
1940 and 1944 during world war two, the
games where canceled so that the war
could go on, this brought all the country
closer in the next games.

By the amount of people that go to the
Olympics it is a popular target for terrorism
but because of the amount of high security
it is unlikely that the terrorists will succeed
as planed.

At 4am 8 Arab gun men secretly
entered the Olympic village where
a group of wrestlers were staying.
They succeeded in taking 9
athletes hostage killing their
coach Moshe Weinberger and
another civilian in the process.
