    14. What is Second Life?
      • Second Life is a virtual world consisting of “islands” or server space. Participants are called “residents” and create their physical appearance in the form of an “avatar.”
      • Also, residents create their environment: lakes, buildings, schools, cultural centers, etc. They meet & talk to each other.
