One of the bigger highlights for new portable media players this year is
the Samsung P3. The reason? Its carefully designed user interface.
The P3 will be available in the first half of 2009 in 4GB, 8GB, 16GB and
32 GB storage capacities.
Samsung has upgraded the user interface from previous years. The
three-inch touchscreen offers “true haptic feedback,” meaning that
command gestures such as swiping a finger across the screen,
switching audio tracks and holding down a digital button for fast-
forwarding video generate a variety of physical sensations to let one
know the command is executed.
Features of the P3 include audio/video/digital image media file playback, sound enhancement
technology, integrated speakers, a one-touch music access key, a 0.39-inches thinness, 16:9
widescreen aspect ratio, voice recording, FM radio, storage support for non-media files and
