  2. 2.  He was born on August 8, 1927 in Moscow. His father was a worker. Yuri was a Russian author of short stories Yuri graduated from Maxim Gorky Literature Institute in 1958. He was married to Tamara Kazakova.
  3. 3. Yuri Kazakow wrote a lot ofstories, for example: «Blue and green» (1956) «Teddy» (1957) «Two nights» (1986) «Damn North» (1964) «Nestor and Cyrus» 1961) «Cry and weep» (1963)
  4. 4.  Yuri Kazakov died on November 29, 1982 in Moscow. In his honor was introduced an annual literary prize for the best story . The picture depicts a memorial plaque devoted to the writer in Moscow .
  5. 5.  In my opinion, Yuri Kazakov is one of the best writers of Russia. His stories are very interesting and emotional. My favorite story is «Blue and green». I think the story is great.
