Many children in Russia start nursery school atthe age of 6 or 7. They spend 4 years in primaryschool. Children study different subjects. Afterthe lessons some children stay at school and dohomework with their teachers because theirparents are at work.
We live in PolyarnieZory, Murmansk Region.We study at school №4.Our school starts at8.30. We usually have 4-5 lessons a day. We havea break at 10.10. Wealways have lunch at theschool canteen.
We have PE lessons in the swimming pool. Ourswimming pool is not very big, but it has got 2 swimming-baths: big and small.
Our school has got classrooms, 2 gyms, 2computer rooms, a library, a canteen,a medical room.
We study 10 subjects. They are Russian, Literature, Maths,English, History, PE, Art, Music, Nature Study, Handicraft. We likeRussian, History, Literature, and PE, but our favourite is English. Weusually read and write, tell poems by heart, tell dialogues andmonologues, sing songs in the English lessons.
We often take part in the English competitions and getdiplomas and prizes.
School objectsWe usedifferent schoolobjects in ourlessons. In Englishlessons we needpens, pencils,crayons, erasers,pencil sharpeners,student’s books,workbooks,dictionaries.
Our school parties.We often have school parties. We sing, dance, play, havetea with sweets and cakes together.
After school we go skiing, dancing, singing, playing musicalinstruments or playing sports.
