  • 2. It celebrates the end of the "lighter half“ of the year and beginning of the "darker half", and is sometimes regarded as the "Celtic New Year“. Halloween is celebrated on the 31st of October in the United States, Canada, Ireland and England.
  • 3. The main symbol of Halloween is a lantern made of a pumpkin to ward off evil spirits
  • 4. Trick-or-treating is a customary celebration for children on Halloween. Children go in costumes from house to house, asking for treats such as candy or sometimes money, with the question –” trick or treat”?
