2. 2. 1- The Overhead and Manpower cost is more. 2- The system failure is more. 3- There is no systematic way of Maintenance, distribution and Collection of revenue. 4- Door to door meter reading . 5- Consumer being bored for registering calls and waiting for lineman. 6- Individual consumer attend office personally or telephonically. 7- If current fails due to Overload then the technician need to come to for resetting. 8- For one consumer’s problem, the other consumers of the area suffers.
 3. 3. One transformer unit is located by the Department to control the power supply to a group of consumers of a particular locality. It maintains the consumer status of that area. By the introduction of energy monitor system, the following facilities can be obtained which will gear up the preservation of the existing transformer, which are frequently attended being defective and trouble some.

Power out put can be limited.

Less pressure on the transmitter.

Consumer cannot alter the load of energy without the knowledge of the authority.

Over-loading and the misuse of energy can be checked and controlled

systematically.

TRANSFORMER

 7. 7. INDIVIDUAL CONSUMER CONNECTION FROM EXISTING POLE Individual power connection is given to each house of the consumer from this nearest electric pole. All these lines have separate adjustment inside the energy monitor box fixed with the electric pole. The energy monitor box will indicate always the clear status of electric connection provided separately to each individual house. Every house is treated as a single unit. In every consumer premises, there is provision of separate cut-out and indicator are to be maintained and be replaced by the individual customer on own cost.
 8. 8. PICTORIAL DIAGRAMS ARE SHOWN WITH A SHORT FOOT NOTE FOR INSTANT PERUSAL AND EASY UNDERSTANDING e-EMB ( e-ENERGY METERING BOX ) This is a portable box of size 16  x 14  x 4  On the Electric pole, on the Roadside, a group of consumers’ units are set up in the e-EMB. The box contains connections and lining for each consumer with a codified number meant for each consumer. There is also provision for connecting to 8 consumers,16 consumers, 32 consumers and 64 consumers in one e-EMB. It works as mini-energy-exchange. This box has the provision of controlling individual consumer units and treated as controlling unit for all. This box is fed by Mini-Energy-Exchange that is called the mother-feeding unit. It also contains a specially devised circuit that helps to record reading in a LCD screen.
 9. 9. This box is made in specific materials with unique arrangements. This is rain proof as well as heat proof to protect it from rainfall and sunshine. As the boxes are fitted in the pole under open sky, there is every possibility of its damage by rain and sunshine. It is provided with lock and key system to prevent mishandling. The internal connection is tightly arranged, not to be disturbed by the stroke of stone or thrashes. The box is not easily breakable. It is also ant-proof and will not rust easily though exposed in open atmosphere. e-EMB FIXED IN POLE
 10. 10. COOLING FAN: The cooling fan will be inside the e-EMB in order to save the components from excess heating. TEMPERATURE CONTROLLED REGULATING SYSTEM: The function of this unit is to run the fan during increased temperature and will be off during cool weather. SAFETY MEASURE: Customer-wise fuse system will be provided in the telemeter box, so that for defect in one consumer unit, the entire group will not be affected. This system is to protect the unexpected hazards that may lead to damage to life or any other appliances.
 11. 11. CONSUMER FRIENDLY SUPPLY: There will be no power cut as prevailing now a days, but there will be proportionate power supply as per the state power stock. For example , suppose a consumer is of 3 Kw load, and there is power shortage for various reasons beyond control, in that case the consumer will get less wattage , but will not remain in complete darkness for hours or days. The supply may be of 2 Kw or 1.5 Kw and so on. depending on availability. INTIMATION TO CONSUMER : Any information regarding consumption, supply, revenue or any other related information will be available on NET /Mobile.
