  • 1. Why you should visit Biblical’s library. (And not just because we sometimes have free cake.) Biblical Theological Seminary Library | 2014-2015
  • 2. We have books… oMore than 40,000! oIncluding everything you’ll need for your classes oYou can check them out for up to 3 weeks –(But you can renew them for another 3 weeks if you do it before they’re due!)
  • 3. …A wide variety of journals… oDating back to 1798 oRoughly 200 current subscriptions oAccess to 2,000+ full- text journals through online databases
  • 4. …And a host of other resources. oDVDs –Nooma, Basic, & other Flannel productions –Church history from Vision Video –Counseling lectures & demos from APA oCDs –Counseling resources, including reviews for various standardized exams
  • 5. And if we don’t have what you’re looking for… …we can hook you up with someone who does. oThrough interlibrary loans (ILL@biblical.edu) oDirect borrowing from SEPTLA and TCLC libraries oVia WorldCat.org, even local public libraries
  • 6. oAvailable on the computers in the computer lab and the bound periodical room oWireless and Ethernet for laptops We also offer internet access…
  • 7. Not to mention a few other things: oExpress checkout (for when you’re in a hurry) –For $0.25 per item, have your books waiting for you at the desk: just email your order at least an hour in advance (libraryexpress@biblical.edu) oCoffee (and tea) bar oSnacks oUsed book sale oIn-person reference from library staff
  • 8. But wait, there’s more! oThe library blog lists changes to our hours and information on new books oOur website has information on everything else
