Using Google Reader is like using a funnel. It takes information from lots of different places and brings it together for you in one easy to use location!
Google Reader helps you follow blogs.
A blog is like an online journal. There are blogs on just about any subject. There are so many education related blogs – some blog about classroom activities, others blog about tech tools.
This shows that you are logged in. This is where you will navigate your subscriptions
Click “Add a subscription” and type in the URL or a search term, then click “Add”. Add the following blog: freetech4teachers.com
Click here to view your new items They will show up in this window, with the most recent on top Add a star to put a post in the Starred Items folder to save for later Email a post to your inbox or to someone else Use tags to organize items you want to save
Click the plus sign, then “Manage Subscriptions” to organize your subscriptions into sub-folders
Your subscriptions are all listed here. This is where you can unsubscribe. You can create folders to group your subscriptions for a more organized Reader and easier viewing
Organizing your subscriptions allows you to have items of both professional and personal interest in one place, and still be able to filter through them easily.
