    I think the composer must be also Russian, maybe from the romantic period...

    Beautiful paintings and music. Very good presentation. I have a collection of books some Russian painters. I have not seen beforehand some of the paintings included in your slideshow. Russian painters were really talented. (as an ınformation: some battels were related to Ottoman İmpire.) Thanks for sharing dear Lia. Best greeting from Istanbul.
