  • Identity - who are you? are you clearly and effectively communicating that? your brand/image\nInteractive - make anything you do engaging and interactive with your audience facebook posts, tweets, instagram photos\ninfluence - 6 principles of influence by Robert Cialdini that can be infused into messages\nincrease - increase your digital footprint with youtube/vimeo, instagram, foursquare, social media, hash tags, keywords\n
  • accessibility - mobile friendly sites, tranlations/closed captions\nMobile traffic currently makes up 10% of global Internet traffic, as shown in the chart below, and next year more people will use mobile phones than PCs to get online, according to Gartner.   • negative space is a big tool and it’s free!\nNever stop learning!\nnarrow things down, refine and simplify whenever possible\nNew embrace new ideas and technology\n
  • tell - your story. always relate anything you do media or otherwise with your story. If it doesn’t amplify your story, stop doing it\ntech - embrace technology and harness the powerful tools available. TED talks, Apple TV\ntrends - stay on top of what’s going on, resources. if it’s not your thing take a geek to lunch once a month to see what’s up\nthumb drive - always have one, have your key info on it, be ready\n
  • cloud - get into using cloud - evernote, dropbox, iCloud for syncing, saving time, access to tools and resources\ngiveaways - put something in people’s hands they don’t necessarily have to buy. to keep your name/ministry in front of mind - magnets, pens, coasters, bookmarks - something relevant to what you’re doing. have people from your mission field create something from their country/culture you can pay them for making and give to people to make it special\n10 slides, 20 minutes and 30 point font or greater\nstory - tell your story always use this as your plumb line\nkeep it simple - always\n
