  • Computer Lab Etiquette This will be a great year of learning and fun, but we must follow certain rules while in the computer lab.
  • Always sit in your assigned seat. Back against the chair Feet on the floor. Fingers on the home row. Chair legs on the ground.
  • Food, candy, gum, and drinks are not permitted in the room. X X X
  • Keep your fingers, pens, and pencils off the screen.
  • Help your neighbor with your mouth not their mouse!
  • Your neighbor can’t help?….raise your hand and wait quietly for me!
  • Ask before you print!
  • Games, chat rooms, music, and instant messaging are not permitted.
  • If you deliberately break or damage equipment, you will pay for it.
  • Push in your chair, and clean up your area when you are done.
  • Changing backgrounds, altering computers, and unplugging equipment is unacceptable.
  • You are responsible for the computer assigned to you. Report any problems to the teacher within the first 3 minutes of class.
  • Look for your seat number! What is this part of the computer called?
  • Plug in your headphones! Be sure to take care of your headphones and bag.
