Librarians can….<br />Embed “how-to” presentations in their websites<br />Share important documents detailing policies and procedures<br />Search for presentations created by others on topics of professional interest<br />Host presentations of collaborating teachers on library websites<br />
Use with students<br />Host student presentations based on library research<br />Create student mash-ups that combine slideshows with podcasts or music to make shows with audio<br />Upload Word and PDF documents to share companion materials to an oral presentation<br />
As always, adhere to the CPS Acceptable Use Policy when using Web 2.0 tools with students. Do not have students use last names or personally identifying information. You can create a library account and have students give you slides to upload, if you share student-created slides.<br />
