On April 10-11, 2014 the results of a multi-year process to amend the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure were decided. The Advisory Committee on Rules of Civil Procedure met in Portland, Oregon to approve amendments designed to expedite cases and lower the burden and costs on litigants.
