  • 4. Revival of lost crafts Shramik Kala’s first two centres have an astounding number of traditional crafts that would have been lost if not for Shramik’s founder Gopi Krishna’s determined efforts.

Beautiful hammocks are made in this arid land and sent to shops in India and abroad. If the products could speak their story they would fables of hard work and effort.
  • 7. Path breaking projects Shramik, has started many path breaking projects, such as the Black Sheep project. In this project they created demand for wool that was being wasted by designing innovative products with it. The enormous response for these products created ripples in the areas and the states around. The project has given a new life to the Deccani sheep and the shepherd community.
