    • 8. Early teaching technology
      • The Okayama school I taught in had laptops hooked up to projectors
      • I used them to make power points and read digitized children's books to the class
    • 9. A vivid technology learning experience
      • The world watched and listened through Internet sites such as cnn.com, youtube.com and podcasts to the Obama campaign and the election of Hawaii-born President Obama.
    • 10. A technology I want to use in my classroom
      • I want every student to have an iPod to listen to audio recordings of required readings or lectures. This can accommodate students with different learning styles as well as be used as assistive technology for students with various disabilities.
    • 11. A Challenge for Teaching
      • I think that a greater challenge than keeping up with technology will be finding the financial backing to purchase any devices or software that can be used to teach in the classroom. It will take a lot of creativity to stretch the dollars we get or to just come up with unconventional forms of technology that cost less.
    • 12. My vision of the classroom of the future
      • I want a team of software programmers to be available to program any educational software that my students can come up with the idea for. The ones who are the learners might be able to come up with the best ideas of how to learn any given subject.
    • 13. Words of wisdom
      • “ The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.”
      • Eleanor Roosevelt
